ArtFest 2011 “The Equality Gallery”

“The Equality Gallery” Art Festival showcased our community’s exceptional artistic talent through a collection of work focusing on Harvey Milk and equality. Through the artists’ own interpretations of Harvey Milk as an icon for the civil rights movement, The Equality Gallery featured pieces based on the theme of equality and opened the previous evening at The Red Panty Press gallery across the street and continued through the main festival. Red Panty Press also served as the acoustic stage for the main festival.
